Position Summary:
The Senior Client Strategist excels at developing trusted relationships with clients and guiding them to achieve business success through a deep understanding of brand, marketing, and communication strategies.
This person utilizes their intuition and imagination to think outside the box, uncovering client insights and collaborating with a diverse team to create highly effective deliverables. The Senior Client Strategist’s focus, above all else, is to bring success to our clients.

Collaborates with:
Collaborates with the CEO, CCO, VP of Client Experience, Director of Marketing, Designers, Writers, Project Managers, and vendors to produce world-class offerings for Forrest and its clients.
Key Job Functions:
Client Relationship
Pour into client relationships by reflecting Forrest’s values while simultaneously making clients extremely successful
Build strong, long-term client relationships in a way that makes Forrest indispensable, fueling trust and helping clients grow strategically to reach their goals
Listen to clients to gain a deep understanding of, and empathy for, their industry, industry verticals, market conditions, and challenges
Client Account Strategy
Create and execute impactful client projects, including go-to-market, brand, and events—to solve complex business problems by developing breakthrough strategies
Develop market-facing touchpoints and facilitate the delivery of touchpoints to the marketplace (campaigns, communications, tactics, events, launches, ads, etc.)
Conduct research, facilitate interviews, and lead workshops to help clients develop and articulate the value proposition for their organization, products, and/or offerings. Interview subject matter experts and translate knowledge into insights, plans, goals, and deliverables.
Collaborate with and guide the Growth Marketing team to create strategic digital marketing campaigns that deliver client leads, leading to business growth
Create research-based competitive analysis reports in collaboration with a Graphic Designer, Writer, and Digital Marketing Manager to provide Forrest’s clients with market differentiation through a data-driven and visual analysis.
Support the client team to develop customer personas and construct customer journeys that increase clarity around target audience pain points
Client Team Lead
Lead Forrest’s internal client team to facilitate world-class execution of projects with clients by collaborating with and drawing on the expertise and resources of the collective team
Write clear and concise briefs and campaign flows that translate strategy into the project execution, providing Forrest’s internal client team with a clear plan, goals, and client outcomes
Mentor and educate Forrest’s internal client team with design-thinking best practices and marketing strategies so that the quality or work is elevated, creating a more purposeful why to client deliverables
Act as the voice of reason when balancing client expectations, budgets, and internal processes
Collaborate heavily with the project manager to represent the client’s best interests and ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
Represent client interests to the Forrest team as the voice and advocate for the client. Ensure all deliverables align with client strategy, contribute to their business growth, and inject empathy.
Lead Forrest’s internal client team by showing up on time, being efficient and productive, and living out Forrest’s values at every turn.
Client Account Success
Establish trust with clients as an expert by providing clear client marketing strategies with a proven point of view to deliver tangible results.
Identify and confirm specific and measurable client goals to drive project success and offer a clear process to evaluate and review client outcomes.
Analyze, evaluate, and present results to increase Forrest’s value and effectiveness. Establish and maintain world-class standards by assessing and reviewing client marketing strategies created by the broader team.
Collaborate with and empower the Growth Marketing Manager to deliver world-class insights and analytics to Forrest’s clients
Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, related field, or equivalent experience
10+ years or more of demonstrated experience building client marketing strategies, including go-to-market, brand, business, performance, and event strategy
Experience in outbound marketing, SEO, and channel (Meta, LinkedIn) best practices
Experience in client-facing roles and understands the intricacies of layered organizations, corporations, and enterprises
Preferable experience in marketing to the tech industry, including ServiceNow, Microsoft, Salesforce, Netsuite, ERP and CRM systems, and other SaaS platforms powering digital transformation
Must be able to manage multiple projects and clients at any given time
Excellent communication and decision-making skills
Highly skilled in market research and competitor analysis
Detailed experience analyzing, evaluating, and presenting client marketing outcomes
Enjoys working independently and in a collaborative team environment
